Importance of Motivation

 


The performance of an individual depends on his or her ability backed by motivation. The set of forces that cause people to have in a certain way. Motivation is goal-directed. A goal is a specific result that the individual desires to realize.

Motivated staff trying to find better ways to try and do employment. Once individuals actively request new ways of doing things, they typically realize them. It is the responsibility of managers to make employees look for better ways of doing their job. An understanding of the nature of motivation is helpful in this context.

A motivated employee, generally, is more quality-oriented. In either case, the organizational benefits, because individuals in and outside the organization see the enterprise as quality conscious. A clear understanding of the ay motivation works helps the manager make his employee quality-oriented.

Highly motivated workers are more productive than apathetic workers. The high productivity of Japanese workers and the fact that fewer workers are needed to produce an automobile in Japan than elsewhere is well known. The high productivity of Japanese workers is attributable to many reasons, but motivation is the main factor. The productivity of workers becomes a question of management’s ability to motivate its employees. An appreciation of the nature of motivation is highly useful for managers.

Every organization requires human resources, in addition to financial and physical recourses for it to function. Individuals should be attracted not only to join the organization however additionally to stay it. Employees should perform the task that they're employed in and should do this in a dependable manner. Employees should go beyond this dependable role performance and have interaction in some type of artistic, spontaneous, and innovative behavior at work.

Conclusion

While organization have for some time viewed their financial and physical resources from a long term perspective, organization seriously apply this same perspective to their human resources. Many organizations are now beginning to pay to increase attention to developing their employees as future recourses upon which they can draw, as they grow in an effort to ensure a continual reservoir of well trained and highly motivated people.

Motivation is intangible, difficult to measure and extremely difficult to control, but very easy to facilitate if done right. It’s all about intention, intensity, and perseverance.
